Pom Party has a Facebook page to keep you up to date on the care and raising of Pomeranian dogs, as well as the latest Poms that need Forever homes. Dogcheapsleeps.com will make a $10 donation to the non profit animal welfare organization of your choice, and their Facebook page lists several who could do a lot for Poms with your help. Plus tons of cute litte Pom faces!
Pet Food Depot, with two locations in Phoenix, is our latest partner. Serving up food for animals from A-Z, they also have a huge array of other products for animal lovers to choose from. They pride themselves on their customer service and knowledge of pet nutrition, and are constantly adding to their inventory. They are located in Desert Hills at 1039 E. Here are some organizations and volunteers who are doing excellent work to help our animal friends:
Valley Dogs Rescue is a no-kill animal rescue organization whose mission is to rescue dogs that have been abandoned, neglected, or otherwise placed in harm’s way; to provide temporary housing for adoptable dogs, and to promote and encourage the responsible care of pets, especially spaying or neutering, micro-chipping and vaccination of dogs and puppies.
There are many homeless vets in Phoenix who need help with their pets. Often transitional housing will not allow them to bring their pets with them, thus there is a great need for foster care while their owner gets on their feet. These folks, who care so much for their pets, also need assistance with medical care, food and other pet care.
