Everyone at Dogcheapsleeps.com has dogs or cats at home, not to mention our 10 in-house animals.  All except the Great Danes were rescued or adopted from a shelter.

In general, America has become much more aware of the problems caused by those who allow their animals to reproduce unchecked, or those who adopt, and then abandon their pets.  There are countless rescue groups for all breeds and problems.  But still, it seems like an incredible amount of work, time and love is contributed by only a relative few.
