Chew Proof Dog Bed: a Virtually Indestructible Dog Bed

.Why would anyone need a chew proof dog bed? All dogs, from the smallest to the largest of dogs, fall under the category of "chewers" at some point in their lives. The habit of chewing is annoying at best and it’s a habit we work to break early, but dogs do chew – it’s a fact of life. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone were to invent an indestructible dog bed?

Suppose you own an older dog who is still a heavy chewer. Perhaps your dog is under stress or suffers from separation anxiety disorder (or just flat out loves to destroy things) – there is not much you can do to prevent that destructive behavior.  Some supervision is always advised with chewers.  We have a friend who ventured into selling an ‘indestructible dog bed’, and failed miserably.  Heavy chewer dog beds are great, but all beds can be chewed.  A really ambitious heavy chewer can chew concrete (we own one). Our dog never met a truly indestructible dog bed!

If you do own a chewer, no dog bed is chew proof.  Corners will go missing or in one case here, a large hole was chewed into the center of the bed.  Once the cover is breached, that’s when the fun really begins. If you are lucky enough to own a litter of bouncing puppies, supervision is advised with any dog bed.

With that said, our chew proof dog beds are as indestructible as they come. Our beds are constructed with a really durable grade of leather soft vinyl, and our closure method is unique as it is sewn back into the cover out of sight.    If you beloved chewer just cannot resist, we can send vinyl scraps. for minor repairs, when a bed is purchased from us. We also sell replacement covers, for that day when the chewer finally wears out or the habit is finally broken.
